Je voudrais par ailleurs te poser quelques questions, qui n'appellent pas forcément une réponse immédiate… Sauvegarde BDR : je suis un peu sidéré par la taille de la sauvegarde de la base de registres : 100 Mo tout rond ! C'est colossal, non ? Logiciels à jour : il y a un certain temps, j'avais repéré un topic dont l'auteur nous dévoilait un site qui examine en direct ton PC pour vérifier si les produits installés sont à jour… pas moyen de le retrouver ! Points de restauration : on en a créé pas mal, aujourd'hui… ne pourrait-on pas garder juste le dernier ? Mais j'ignore comment faire pour supprimer les autres… PC opérationnel : sans préjuger de la suite des événements, pourrais-tu m'indiquer si tu considères mon PC comme désormais opérationnel ? En particulier pour un usage professionnel par ma fille (µ$ Office, FF, liaison VPN, IE) ? @ toute -édit- S'il n'y a que quelques valeurs à intégrer à la BDR, ne pourrait-on pas envisager de les insérer à la main par copier/coller ? Juste une précision… J'ai double-cliqué sur le nom de la sauvegarde, j'ai confirmé « Oui », et je n'ai pas eu l'impression qu'il se passait quoi que ce soit ? Au bout de 2 minutes, j'ai rebooté, en me disant que c'est à ce moment-là qu'il se passerait quelque chose… et je n'ai rien perçu non plus ? Je préfère attendre ton avis avant de poursuivre…

Salut Tibonhomme ! Tu sais que tu m'as fait peur, toi… OTL a démarré, puis est resté bloqué sur le message « Processing Registry date "ADODB.Recordset"… » pendant 2 heures (le temps que ma fille daigne me prêter son portable pour que j'aille t'en informer) ! Au vu de ton message ci-dessus, j'ai rebooté (en passant par le gestionnaire de tâches). Puis j'ai relancé OTL, qui est rapidement arrivé au message « Process completed !… » (après être passé par un message genre « Prise d'un point de restore, ne pas toucher »). Et est resté figé comme ça ! Au bout de quelques minutes, j'ai décidé de rebooter (toujours par le gestionnaire de tâches). regsvr32 appwiz.cpl puis reboot : toujours pas d'effet… Icônes

dans Windows/system32, j'ai renommé Appwiz.cpl en Appwiz.old j'ai fait un copier/coller du Appwiz.cpl de i386 dans system32 il m'a dit "fichier existant, voulez-vous le remplacer ?" j'ai annulé l'opération, raffraîchi l'affichage de system32, et effectivement constaté la présence de 2 fichiers, Appwiz.cpl et Appwiz.old compte tenu de ta remarque, j'ai quand même forcé le copier/coller reboot > Panneau de configuration > Ajouter/supprimer des programmes : pas de changement. Je vais tenter ta nouvelle suggestion !

Bonsoir Tibonhomme, VLC : je suis en V1.1.4. J'ai téléchargé la V1.1.10, et vais l'installer ce soir. JavaRa : je l'ai téléchargé et exécuté. Java Quick Starter : je l'ai décoché mais, après reboot ultérieur, j'ai un nouveau processus jqs.exe ? Temp File Cleaner Je l'ai téléchargé et exécuté. Il a manifestement fait un grand ménage (un peu plus d'un Go), mais ne m'a rien indiqué en final, ni rien demandé : il a rebooté d'autorité ! Question : pour l'avenir, puis-je l'installer ailleurs que sur le bureau ? Ajout/suppression programmes : oui, toujours ce grand vide, entre OpenVPN et Otto. Je vais te mettre des captures-écran pour t'en montrer l'ampleur… @+ Dylav
