salut je suis ravi de vous causer car apres 4 jours à galerer pour installer ubuntu et encore je n'ai reussi a installer que la version 6,10 car la 7 tous les iso trouvés sont corrompus.

j'ai du mal a paramétrer le wifi avec ubuntu,mon usb wifi est reconnu quand je fait ifconfig et en utilisant outils reseau mais rien ne se passe quand je met en route firfox.

*j'ai un ID:148f:2573 ralink et une carte wifi pcmcia pour 9 box trio 3c

pouvez vous m'aidez s'il vous plait.

Si t'as réussis à installer Edgy (6.10), avec la mise à jour tu peux facilement passer à Feisty (7.04) : Système -> Administration -> Gestionnaire de mises à jour.

Ou bien fais un "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade"

 

Sinon, pour ton problème de wifi, je dirais ...... passe par une carte réseau Ethernet, avec un bon vieux câble

Faut arrêter avec le wifi sérieusement, c'est daubique comme truc (j'invente des mots je sais héhéhé).

 

Tu peux aussi aller voir ici. C'est le forum officiel ubuntu francophone.

Autrement dit, êtes-vous capable de vous connecter en wifi sur votre routeur ?

 

On se connecte manuellement au routeur en tapant http://192.168.1.1 ou http://192.168.0.1 (tout dépendant de la marque du routeur) dans la barre d'adresse de Firefox afin d'accéder à une interface Web permettant de configurer le routeur si une connexion existe avec ce dernier S'il n'y a aucune réponse, nous sommes en face d'un problème de configuration du système.

 

Si c'est un problème de configuration du système, c'est peut-être parce que vous ne disposez pas des paquetages nécessaires pour vous connecter en wifi ou parce que vous ne disposez pas des formats d'encryptage nécessaires pour établir une connexion.

 

Cela dit, ça peut être aussi un problème de support des pilotes matériels de votre carte wifi, auquel cas il n'y a rien à faire.

 

Si vous arrivez à vous connecter au routeur, mais que vous ne parvenez pas à vous connecter à l'Internet, soit vous avez mal configuré le serveur DHCP du routeur, soit vous n'avez pas spécifié les serveurs de DNS de votre fournisseur d'accès.

 

En dehors de ça, il y a des milliers d'autres explications qui pourraient convenir. Mais, d'expérience, celles que j'ai identifiées sont les plus fréquentes.

vraiment merci de m'aider.

alors ,non je ne peux ma connecter au routeur mais jai identifier mon probleme qui est que le driver

rt73 n'est pas installé.

je l'ai télécharger mais:

1)je l'ai mis sur le bureau d'ubuntu mais en voulant le mettre a la poubelle il n'a rien qui se passe et en voulant le remmettre a partir de mon cd sur le bureau j'ai un message qui me dit ecriture interdite comme si j'avais plus les doits que faire ?

EDIT :

 

Pour effacer un fichier qui refuse de partir en mode utilisateur normal, peut être que le faire en root serait la solution. Dans un terminal, taper :

gksudo nautilus

 

Puis aller dans ton répertoire /home/utilisateur/bureau et effacer le fichier récalcitrant.

 

Mais une question : pourquoi avoir voulu l'effacer?

Je ne connais pas les procédures d'installation des pilotes sous Ubuntu, ni la manière de configurer le réseau sous cette distribution.

 

La seule distribution que je connaisse vraiment, c'est OpenSUSE 10.X (OpenSUSE 10.3 en ce moment).

 

De plus, Ubuntu utilise par défaut le gestionnaire de fenêtres «GNOME» qui diffère fondamentalement du gestionnaire «KDE» (par défaut) d'OpenSUSE

 

Là-dessus, tous les systèmes d'exploitation n'échappent pas à la la règle en ce qui concerne le réglage des connexions TCP/IP, dont celle avec le fournisseur d'accès à l'Internet, lequel devrait être en mesure de vous fournir toute l'information nécessaire pour au moins vous connecter à votre routeur. On se comprend ?

en faite j'ai ré installer ubuntu et comme toous les iso ubuntu 7 sont corrompu alors j'ai remis le 6,10.

j'essai d'installer le driver mais arrivé a Make j'ai une serie d'erreur :

Qu'est-ce qui est affiché par ces outils, exactement ?

Si tu n'avais pas de driver pour ton interface réseau WiFi, elle n'apparaitrait pas dans ces outils...
