normalement l'installeur nvidia détecte qu'il n'y a pas de binaires précompilés pour ton noyau et propose d'en compiler un, non?

Merci pour ta réponse rapide.

Le pilote nvidia est installé par "dkms-nvidia-current" et lors de l'activation du pilote via drakconf, plusieurs paquets kernel sont proposés et s'installent, mais le pilote ne fonctionne pas :-? . A aucun moment il ne m'a été proposé de compiler un binaire :chpas: .

Quoi compiler et comment ?

J'ai un erreur lors de l'installation du driver nvidia sur le noyau custom:

Je vais donc recompiler mon noyau après avoir désactiver le module: Versioning Support.

Mais auparavant, il me parait logique d'essayer la version spring de Mandriva qui devrait sortir le 5 juillet ;) .

Bonjour à tous :) ,

 

je suis reparti à partir de la sauvegarde système précédent la compilation du dernier noyau.Sur ~/src/linux le noyau custom apparaissait.J'ai donc fait: cd ~/src/linux puis make menuconfig, ce qui m'a permis de désactiver Versioning Support ;) , puis make pour recompiler et enfin, make modules_install && make install pour installer le noyau modifié.

Au redémarrage, le module nvidia s'est installé sans problème et le serveur x fonctionne parfaitement :super: .

La partie en gras montre la rapidité du démarrage.

Les premiers constats montre outre un démarrage rapide, que la stabilité et la rapidité ont été améliorées :super: .

Je tiens à remercier tout ceux qui n'ont aidé à aboutir à ce résultat très satisfaisant et plus particulièrement 256JMAN & Greywolf ;) .Je laisse le sujet ouvert, le temps de tester le nouveau noyau...
