slt à tous

j'utilise windows depuis pas mal de temps :P et j'ai decider de changer pour passer à linux :-( J'ai telecharger la version de mandriva 2006 l'installation c'est bien passer, mais au moment de lancer l'interface graphique pour me logger :-P gros probleme :P mon écrant est de toute les couleurs :P je n'est rien compris :-P pourtant à l'installation g bien choisis ma carte graphique : c'est une nvidia geforce fx5200 :P

pouvez vous maider merci d'avance.

Quels sont les messages d'erreur au lancement de ta session X ?

Il faut regarder dans /var/log/Xorg.0.log si tu as xorg ou /var/logXfree86.0.Log si tu as xserver-xfree86.

je n'est pas de message d'erreur c'est juste qu'au lancement mon ecrant est de toute les couleurs

ps : j'ai fais une recherche sur google et j'ai trouver pas mal de chose.

La version free de mandriva 2006 n'a pas les drivers nvidia. J'ai essayer avec les drivers genetique vesa sans aucun succes. Il faut installer les drivers nvidia.Comment je droit posseder puisque des le depart je ne peux pas acceder au bureaux de la mandriva.

Salut,

Je ne pense pas que ce soit un probleme de driver, j'ai une geforce 5200 et je n'ai jamais eu le moindre probleme avec (que ce soit avec les drivers generic nv ou les drivers nvidia)

Va dans drakconf (configurer votre ordinateur) et refait les reglages d'affichage en oubliant pas de remettre les drivers nv à la place des vesa et en vayant a ce que tu soit bien en 24bit, car la j'ai l'impression que ton affichage est reglé en 16 couleurs

une fois que tu a tout bien configuré redémarre le serveur X (si tu ne c'est pas comment faire redémarre ton pc ca revient au meme)

 

 

au pire si les nv ne passe pas on vera pour installé les vrai drivers nvidia

Tu n'as pas de ligne Modes dans tes subsection Display !? Hum...

Est-ce que tu as la doc de ton moniteur sous la main ? (pour indiquer des valeurs de HorizSync et VertRefresh qui correspondent exactement, histoire d'avoir des modes "valides")

 

Est-ce que tu peux nous copier-coller le contenu de /var/log/Xorg.0.log ?

Est-ce que tu peux nous donner le type (CRT/LCD), et éventuellement la marque et le modèle de ton écran ?

Est-ce que tu obtiens une console lorsque tu appuies sur [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [F2] (ou [F1] ou [F3]... ou [F5]... etc.) ? (ce qui te permettrait de faire un coup de FTP, récupérer les drivers nvidia et les installer) ?

Est-ce que ça fonctionne mieux si tu ajoutes la ligne suivante dans la Subsection Display correspondant à Depth 24 (puisque tu es par défaut en 24bits) ?
