Victoire !! J'ai une magnifique interface graphique 800*600 ! D'ailleurs, j'ai un gros bug graphique quand j'essaye de monter la resolution. Ca fait comme si l'écran était découpé en 4. Avec 4 fois le même bureau. Et qunad je deplace ma souris, ca la deplace sur les 4 morceaux, c'est assez bizarre...

J'ai peut être une piste : Lu sur : http://forum.hardware.fr/hardwarefr/MiniPC...jet-20276-1.htm En plus, j'ai vu sur plusieurs sites internet des mecs qui arrivaient à faire tourner linux sur ce portable, et ils avaient tous xorg. Donc je vais essayer d'installer xorg. En plus, j'ai lu a plusieurs reprises que xfree etait dépassé et que xorg était mieux. Z'en pensez quoi ? Et si c'est vrai, pourquoi debian l'installe par défaut ?

Pendant l'install il me demande si je veux installer un bureau je crois, alors j'ai dis oui. et du coup, X essaye de se lancer tout seul au démarrage, sans que je ne tape rien. Apres, j'ai les messages d'erreur. Et apres, je me retrouve devant une console.

Ca y'est c'est installé, et ca ne marche tjrs pas J'ai eu le même problème que la derniere fois en faisant un lspci, mais aprés un update-pciids c'etait réglé. Bien sur. C'est prêt dans 2h30. Euh... Pas volontairement en tout cas. Si ya encore ce prob avec le nouveau noyau, je desactiverai ce qu'il faut.

J'ai fait un apt-get --reinstall install xserver-xfree86 mais j'ai tjrs un message d'erreur. Par contre, je viens de me rendre compte qu'il y avait un ascenceur à côté du message d'erreur et qu'en fait, il est plus long que ce que je croyais. (Oula, ya du boulet ! ) Voila un extrait du message d'erreur : Alors apparement il ne reconnait pas mon écran... Si ya besoin, je peux afficher ce que me rend le rapport d'erreur détaillé.

J'ai tenté un X -version sur ma Knoppix et sur ma débian. Sur Knoppix, j'obtient : XFree86 Version 4.3.0.1 (Debian 4.3.0.dfsg.1-6 20040707142024 Sur Debian : XFree86 Version 4.3.0.1 (Debian 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 20050901212727 Je vais essayer de telecharger la derniere Knoppix. Elle aura surement une version de Xfree plus recente, et comme ça, la copie du XFConfig86-4 de Knoppix vers Debian, fonctionnera peut etre.

Aucune des deux ne repond. Par contre, dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 passe. C'est donc Xfree86. Mais XFree et XFree86, c'est la même chose ?

Mais alors, comment je fais pour savoir si j'ai Xorg ou Xfree ? En regardant dans les fichiers, je vois marqué Xfree* de partout. Je comprend plus rien moi...

Bon ben j'ai mis le mode vesa, et ça ne change rien. Je vais essayer de regarder dans le fichier de config. Qqun à une idée ? Pour mon idée d'importer mon fichier de config de knoppix, ça marcherait pas ?

Le "update-pciids" marche niquel etme corrige le prob du lspci. Par contre, pour le "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86", quel est "l'identifiant du bus de la carte vidéo" ? Je vais laisser vide pour voir... Je crois que ca se fait si on a qu'une seule carte vidéo. Non ?

Bonjour à tous ! Je viens d'installer une debian sur mon ordi portable, et j'ai un problème avec le server X. Au démarrage, il me dit qu'il a un prob et qu'il ne peut pas démarrer. J'ai un peu regardé ce topic, et j'ai essayé de faire un lspci pour voir. J'obtient ceci : [...] 0000:03:00.0 VGA compatible controller : ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 5652 Qu'est ce que je peux faire pour que ma carte soit reconnue ? (c'est une radeon X700). Je crois que j'ai XFree86. PS : Avec Knoppix, pas de prob. J'ai une interface graphique qui fonctionne niquel. Ce serait pas possible de recupérer mes fichiers de config knoppix (lequels ?) pour les mettre sur ma debian ?

Perso avec free, ya eu du bon et du moins bon. Je suis chez eux depuis le lancement de leur première offre adsl. Au debut aucun problème. Puis ils ont lancé une nouvelle offre et je suis passé en 2Mbps. ==> Aucun prob Puis je suis passé à la freebox et à l'adsl Max en même temps. Et là, gros problèmes. Surf impossible. La freebox désynchronisait toute les 20 sec. Y'avait aussi un petit bruit dans le telephone (celui qui était branché sur la box) si je me rapelle bien. Finalement, apres qques semaines de galère, j'ai demandé à repasser en 2Mbps, et là, plus aucun prob. Résultat : Actuellement, je suis en 2Mbps, le tel marche niquel et ça ne deconnecte quasiment jamais. Bref, je suis content de ce que j'ai. Ceci dit, comparé aux autres offres adsl du moment, je trouve le prix bcp moins interessant qu'au début. Mais bon, ça marche, alors je suis content. PS : L'installation du wifi sur la freebox est en route. Peut être des nouveaux problèmes à l'horizon. J'espère pas...

A tout hasard, tu n'aurais pas demandé à free de te passer d'une connection 1 ou 2 Mo à de l'adsl Max ? Parce que une fois que j'ai fait le changement, ma freebox plantait toute les 2 minutes (avec le petit chenillard qui circule). Finalement, j'ai demandé à repasser en 2Mo et je n'ai plus eu aucune déconnection. Peut être que le débit que tu demande est supérieur à celui que tu peux réellment avoir.

En théorie, c'est possible, mais en pratique, c'est pas évident. Je veux éviter d'avoir des cables qui circulent dans toute la maison, et pour éviter cela, je dois passer par le vide sanitaire (qui doit faire 60cm de hauteur). En plus, comme y'a un étage, et des endroits du vide sanitaire auquel j'ai plus accès, c'est pas simple. C'est faisable, mais si des répéteurs wifi existent (pour pas trop cher), c'est beaucoup plus facile.
