tu n'es pas associé à ton point d'accès wifi. As tu configuré les parramètres SSID, cryptage via l'interface graphique ou dans le fichier /etc/network/interfaces?

 

peux-tu nous donner le résultat des commandes suivantes:

sudo /sbin/iwlist eth1 scanning

 

et le contenu du fichier suivant, à ouvrir avec l'éditeur de texte (gedit si tu es sous environnement gnome)

C'est assez étrange parce que iwconfig a l'air de dire que tu es en mode managed avec un essid vide et un AP "invalide"...

Que se passe-t-il lorsque tu exécutes "iwlist eth0 scan" ? (ou mieux, si tu connais ton ESSID (ou "SSID"), "iwconfig eth0 essid TON_ESSID") ?

 

Ah... grillé... mais c'est pas forcément une mauvaise chose :-D

D'abord merci à vous deux.

Greywolf: j'ai entré le SSID, les DNS, IP de la bécane et IP passerelle via "Administration", "Réseau", j'ai coché la connection sans fil et décocher la filaire

 

et puis ce soir, je recommence la commande lsusb, j'avais mal tapé!!

 

Pour mon information, comment se fait il que, dans le menu réseau, j'ai configuré et activé ma connection sans fil avec tous les paramètres qui vont bien (enfin je pense), et que quand on tape les lignes de commande iwconfig et ifconfig, on ne voit pas les paramètres les plus importants?

 

Autre question, le système voit la clé wifi, mais elle ne s'allume pas. De plus, hier soir quand j'ai fait mes manips de récupération de fichiers et d'images, quand je fermais ubuntu et revenais à XP, ma clé wifi était éteinte, et il fallait que je la débranche puis rebranche pour récupérer ma connection.

 

Et dernière question, si mes drivers de carte mère n'étaient pas les bons, parce qu'en fait hormis installer ubuntu et tenter de configurer le wifi, c'est tout ce que j'ai fait.

si tu mets eth1 en dhcp dans /etc/network/interfaces

y'a un truc bizarre quand même...

le périphérique wifi est donné en eth0 par dmesg et apparait ensuite en eth1 via iwconfig... un problème de udev?

 

tu peux nous donner le résultat de la commande suivante:

sudo grep eth /etc/modules.conf
