Bonjour à tous,

celà fait quelque temps déja que je rencontres des problèmes de plantage à cause de ce que j'appelle "des fausses attaques" avec mon routeur SMC Barricade 7004ABRV2...

En effet, il arrive que parfois ma connection internet "saute" et je n'ai plus aucun accès au "WAN" (le "LAN" par contre fonctionne très bien). Dans ces cas là, je vais dans l'interface WEB et j'ordonne un "reset" et tout rentre dans l'ordre. Parfois, je n'arrive même plus à rentrer dans l'interface WEB tellement il est saturé, et dans ce cas là il n'y a plus qu'à appuyer sur le bouton reset...

Une fois dans la semaine, ça va, mais il arrive que ça le fasse plusieurs fois par jour, et des fois comme aujourd'hui j'en ai marre.

Il arrive même que le routeur perde la date.

Bien sûr, je n'ai aucun virus, ni trojan, ni spyware sur mes différents ordinateurs.

celà fait quelque temps déja que je rencontres des problèmes de plantage à cause de ce que j'appelle "des fausses attaques" avec mon routeur SMC Barricade 7004ABRV2...

quelques définitions de ces attaques à classer parmi les dénis de service:

 

smurfing: attaque par réflexion basée sur ICMP

On pinge l'adresse de diffusion d'un réseau en spoofant/modifiant l'adresse source. Ainsi, la cible de l'attaque reçoit des centaines/milliers/millions d'echo reply induisant une consommation de ressource processeur importante.

 

Tu peux t'en protéger en bloquant le protocole ICMP sur l'interface WAN

 

syn flood : basée sur une faiblesse du protocole TCP qui doit garder en mémoire les paramètres de connexion des sessions en cours dans une table TCB (Transmission Control Block) de taille limitée.

Si on envoie des milliers, dizaines de milliers de paquets TCP-SYN sans répondre au syn-ack de la cible (ou en spoofant l'adresse source) ce qui laisse beaucoup de connexions à demi-ouvertes et saturation de la TCB.

Les OS récents ont un mécanisme appelé syn_cookies qui permet d'être "immunisé" à ce type d'attaques

vérifie les options de ton routeur (block WAN ICMP ou quelquechose d'équivalent)

Bonsoir Greywolf,

merci de t'interresser à mon sujet !

Je n'ai malheureusement pas trouvé de configuration ICMP pour mon routeur, le seul paramètre que j'ai modifié depuis la derniere fois c'est que j'ai coché en plus l'option "Discard ping to wan" (voir ici).

Je ne sais pas ce que ça va m'apporter de plus !

Je commence à croire que ce routeur est un peu "archaïque" !

si tu n'as pas d'options syn_cookie, peut-être une màj du firmware le fera.

C'est pas récent comme technique de protection des syn floods, il est donc surprenant que ton routeur ne le gère pas. :P

 

Sinon, configurer les nouvelles connexions TCP entrantes à DROP par défaut pour éviter de conserver des sessions dans la TCB.

Evidemment si le syn flood cible un port ouvert/routé sur une autre machine ce n'est pas la solution (référence au 4662 et 10000)

C'est le log d'alarme d'un quelconque module IDS de ton routeur ou un log de toutes les connexions de ton routeur que tu as montré? (peut-être t'informe-til simplement du syn_flood tout en le gérant correctement)

Salut Greywolf,

j'ai le dernier firmware en date, et depuis plus d'un an il n'y a plus eu de mise à jour... Donc je suppose que ce routeur n'est plus d'actualité.

En effet, c'est le log d'alarme, sur la page du routeur il est marqué : "Security Log - View any attempts that have been made to gain access to your network."

Par contre, je suis désolé de te monopoliser comme ça, mais pourrais tu m'aider en regardant le pdf ci joint, c'est tout les paramètres du routeurs... Comme ça tu pourrais mieux me conseiller.
