DRI sous Debian & ATI (non résolu)

Bonjour !

 

Depuis ce matin, j'essaye desespérément d'activer l'accélération graphique de ma carte graphique (une ATI Radeon 9700) sous Debian.

 

Mon install de linux ne date que d'hier, c'est donc encore très récent pour moi tout ça

 

Après avoir parcouru plein, plein de forums, je commence à comprendre un peu comment ça marche, mais pas assez pour m'en sortir. Donc, voilà ce que j'ai fait :

 

1. D'abord j'ai installé les drivers ATI officiels (un ati[...].run)

2. Ensuite, et comme demandé par l'install, j'ai fait un fglrxconfig. Bon j'ai laissé la réponse par défaut à la plupart des questions, sauf celles évidentes comme la langue du clavier ou la souris (dû mettre /dev/psaux et non pas /dev/mouse par défaut).

3. J'ai fait une copie de sauvegarde de mon /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.

4. J'ai rebooté, pas de problème. Seulement, quand je faisais un glxinfo, j'avais toujours Direct Rendering à off.

5. Bon après je sais pu trop ce que j'ai fait, j'ai essayé diverses manips suggérées par certains forums (dont l'installation d'un package dri-trunk je sais pas quoi :/) mais X en venait à ne plus démarrer donc j'ai restauré mon fichier XF86Config-4 (que j'avais copié à l'étape 3).

6. Du coup, je me retrouve avec les drivers ATI installés mais avec un XF86Config-4 "d'origine". A noter que je ne sais pas comment virer les drivers d'ATI

7. J'ai essayé de les réinstaller donc, et j'ai refait fglrxconfig, répondu aux mêmes questions avec les mêmes réponses. J'ai rebooté, et cette fois X ne démarre plus (déjà, la magie de Linux opère sur moi). Le message d'erreur : fglrx, drivers not found (en gros). [c'est dans la section device, la carte graphique avait comme ligne Driver = "fglrx"]

8. Qu'à cela ne tienne, je restaure encore mon fichier XF86Config-4 (le même qu'à l'étape 3...).

9. Bon, et maintenant ?

 

 

Voilà, je me retrouve avec (d'après ce que j'en ai compris) des drivers ATI installés "à moitié", et je n'arrive pas à activer l'accélération graphique.

 

Dès que j'essaye de suivre les instructions données sur un site ou sur un autre (je ne parle pas de ceux qui demandent de compiler ou de recompiler le kernel ou je ne sais trop quoi...), ça ne marche pas à un moment ou à un autre.

 

 

Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait donc m'aider à m'en sortir svp ?

N'hésitez pas à me demander plein de détails, du moment que vous me ditez comment les obtenir

Voici les premières lignes de glxinfo. Je n'avais pas remarqué (je suis a peu pres sur que c'est nouveau, depuis que j'ai restauré XF86Config-4 en fait) mais il y a une sorte d'erreur à la deuxième ligne...

j'ai trouvé cela pour toi, et qui peux peut-etre t'aider car cette methode doit bien s'integrer a une debian.

désolé de ne pas t'aider plus mais j'ai une nvidia.

J'avais déjà essayé de suivre ces instructions, malheureusement ça rate dès le début...

 

Je rajoute les 2 lignes dans /etc/apt/sources.list (sans les (...) qui sont rajoutés par le forum manifestement), puis je fais apt-get install touletralala*, et là :

 

W: Impossible de localiser la liste des paquets sources http://www.stanchina.net ./ Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/www.stanchina.net_%7eflavio_debian_._Packages) - stat (2 Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type)
W: Vous pouvez lancer " apt-get update " pour corriger ces problèmes.
E: Impossible de trouver le paquet fglrx-kernel-src

 

Il peut y avoir une petite typo là-dedans, c'est du recopiage à la main.

 

Sinon, moi, ça me parle sans plus...

 

 

 

Quant aux directives données par ce site, je suis complètement perdu, dès le début...

effectivement les liens sont morts je pense. Peut-etre peux-tu essayer de suivre la methode en ayant trouver les paquetages dont tu as besoin à savoir : fglrx-kernel-src, fglrx-driver, fglrx-driver-dev,fglrx-kernel-src,fglrx-control-qt3

En cherchant sur debian mais dans les version testing et unstable ou bien ici.

Pour ce qui est de du site où tu es perdu, c'est grace a leur méthode que j'ai mis mes pilotes nvidia; c'est deroutant car tu debutes sous linux je crois, mais je pense qu'ils sont fiables.

A propos de ce site ou je suis perdu : j'ai "zappé" les pré-requis sur le noyau, et j'ai essayé de passer directement au téléchargement des drivers.

 

J'ai donc téléchargé les 2 fichiers .dsc et .tar.gz, mais j'ai une erreur lors du fakeroot debian/rules binary :

Je vais essayer de trouver les packages, même si je suis pas sur de ce que je devrai en faire ensuite Enfin je vais chercher déjà !

Peux-etre peux tu essayer de modifier ton sources.list avec ceci:

# ... les morceaux pour X avec une ATI Radeon

deb http://www.stanchina.net/~flavio/debian-fglrx-xfree86/ ./

# ... les modules pour le kernel avec une carte graphique ATI Radeon

deb http://www.stanchina.net/~flavio/debian-fglrx-modules/ ./

En ce qui concerne les recherches sur le site de Debian, je ne trouve aucun résultat en cherchant ne serait-ce que "fglrx" (ou alors j'ai rien compris ).

 

Pas vraiment mieux sur apt-get.

 

 

En modifiant mon sources.list comme tu l'a dit :

 

W: impossible de localiser la liste des paquets sources http://www.stanchina.net ./ Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/www.stanchina.net_%7eflavio_debian-fglrx-xfree86_._Packages) - stat (2 Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type)
W: la même avec la deuxieme ligne
E: impossible de trouver fglrx-kernel-src

D'après ce que je comprends, on peut aussi prendre directement les paquets compilés ici : http://xoomer.virgilio.it/flavio.stanchina...ee86/index.html ?

 

Est-ce que ça ferait l'affaire pour peut etre essayer de continuer la procédure de flavio stanchina ?

 

(je n'ose plus toucher moi maintenant )
